Great interview!!! Luke James as Edmund Wow Goosebumps and the cast did amazing. These two seasons are relatable not only as a POC being human. Im in therapy now due to trama. Losing my Mom recently who was a big traumatic part of my life and how to let go be free. I feel the more seasons of Them there is better hope of things getting better one day i believe. This was the good ole days before tph went on a rampage trying to cover up what she has going on with Ms Fantasia, everything was going so smooth the chemistry between the 2 was completely off the charts the looks the touches🥵 now it's ruined and gone down hill You know what maybe it should've been kept under raps cause folks aren't ready they're too ignorant and homophobic but me I see right to the core of those 2 the body language I see it all

So they acknowledge the biracial/light skinned complexities of the movie. I think, and to an extent rightfully so, that’s why there’s such issue with it. There’s an extra *extra* protection of Black stories and culture we have. Not just from the whites but lately from certain pockets of our own diaspora. Khadijah Mbowe had a video about it. Many of us don’t want the Kobi’s and Justice’s of the world speaking for the rest of us. Because they’re usually given the opportunities first. Because their lived experience is more so specific that it’s not authentic to many Black Americans. And because much deeper complications relating to color politics and how they benefit from and have blindspots to them. And, for me and maybe others like me, their light skinned militance coming out both too heavy handed and too soft in the film. Not a bad movie but because it’s not perfect, especially in some noticeable ways, it’s gonna take some deserved and undeserved heat.
